Hyundai Construction Introduces 'H Auto Zone' for the First Time at Hillstate River City

Smart Home Technology-Integrated Dry Car Wash Space for Car Washing, Maintenance, and Tuning in Underground Parking Lots

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Hyundai Engineering & Construction announced on the 23rd that it has applied the 'H Auto Zone,' one of the 'H Series,' for the first time at 'Hillstate River City' in Gimpo, where move-ins began last August.

Developed by Hyundai Engineering & Construction in November last year, the 'H Auto Zone' is a dry car wash space within the underground parking lot, providing a wide area enough to open both doors of a vehicle, allowing for car washing, light maintenance, and tuning. It also incorporates smart home technology, enabling users to check usage status and make reservations through a dedicated smartphone application.

The 'H Auto Zone' was created by analyzing the essential functions of parking spaces, which were most frequently used but had low satisfaction. The company explained that it was the result of considering ways to make the parking lot, regarded by residents as the most important facility within the complex, more convenient and efficient.

Utilizing the large area in the underground parking lot, which was used only for parking due to the nature of apartment living spaces, a space was secured where customers can open both doors of their vehicles and work on them. The secured space is equipped with vacuum cleaners, air guns, and automatic air pressure inflators, allowing customers to manage their vehicles by themselves. In particular, the 'vacuum cleaner for car washing' reflects the opinions of customers living in the Hillstate complex.

The H Auto Zone was designed to compensate for the lack of vehicle management spaces such as garages in apartments by providing a larger area than self-service car washes in a corner of the underground parking lot within the complex. It allows residents to conveniently organize the interior of their vehicles and perform simple maintenance or tuning anytime, regardless of weather or time.

The H Auto Zone, first applied at Hillstate River City, will be expanded to other projects in the future by reflecting customer feedback.

A Hyundai Engineering & Construction official said, "Through the new idea of securing a dry car wash space in the underground parking lot, we aimed to provide differentiated value unique to Hillstate to residents," adding, "We will offer the best residential space by reflecting customer demands and housing trends."
