Launch of 50 Types of Bathroom and Cleaning Products
[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Cha] Asung Daiso, a fixed-price household goods store, announced on the 23rd that it will launch the ‘Disney Bathroom Series,’ which recorded high consumer preference last year.
This special exhibition introduces a bathroom goods series based on last year’s Disney collaboration preference survey results. About 50 items including bathroom and cleaning supplies are offered, with 70% of the products priced under 2,000 KRW, providing great cost-effectiveness (performance relative to price).
The bathroom goods consist of bathroom accessories, bath towels, and towel types. Essential items for the bathroom sink such as soap dishes, rinsing cups, toothbrush holders, and refill pumps are made of ABS material, which offers excellent hardness and strength, and feature rubber coating on the surface for superior grip. Designed in similar color tones, purchasing them as a set can create a unified look on the sink area.
Frequently used bath towels and towel types in the bathroom come in cute designs. The shower balls feature the faces of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, serving not only for body washing but also as interior accents. There are also bath mats to decorate the bathroom entrance. Trash bins are available as mini bins for office or desk use and desktop trash bins, with the ‘slide open trash bin’ made of PS material that is resistant to scratches. The ‘mesh laundry basket’ measures 35X35X60cm (width x depth x height), making it suitable for single-person households or children. The ‘powder detergent refill container’ allows for neat storage of detergent.
A Daiso representative said, “With the increase of people staying at home due to COVID-19 and the rise of a culture that values personal hygiene, time spent in the bathroom has lengthened,” adding, “We hope that the Daiso Disney Bathroom Series will help create a clean and refreshing daily life.”
