Buy a Lunchbox and Get a Free Cup Noodle and Drink... Emart24's Surprise Event for Its Anniversary

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Emart24 is holding a surprise event from October 24, its founding anniversary, until the 31st, where customers who purchase any of seven popular fresh food items will receive two bonus products.

The event items include three types of dosirak (spicy dakgalbi & donkatsu dosirak, half-and-half meat feast, new tuna mayo rice bowl), two types of gimbap (spicy pork & cheese bulgogi, Number One Gimbap), and two types of sandwiches (egg shrimp, avocado sandwich), totaling seven items that are the most sought-after in each category.

Until October 31, customers who purchase any of the three dosirak or two gimbap items will receive Minsaeng Ramen (cup) and Chilsung Cider Low Sugar Cane as bonus products, while those who purchase either of the two sandwiches will receive two bonus items: a soft-boiled egg and Guangdong corn silk tea (340ml).

Customers who purchase the three dosirak or two gimbap items can also participate in the Emart24 mobile app coffee voucher event. After purchasing the event products, customers can access the Emart24 mobile app and scan the integrated barcode to receive a lottery ticket. They can scratch the ticket to immediately check if they have won. Emart24 plans to award a total of 1,400 people with prizes including Starbucks Americano vouchers (100 people), Emart24 Ifresso hot Americano vouchers (300 people), and 500 won discount coupons (1,000 people).

Lee Sangjin, team leader of Emart24 FF Team, said, “While convenience stores have previously offered one bonus product such as bottled water or beverages when purchasing fresh food items like dosirak or sandwiches, this is the first time two bonus products are being given.” He added, “To celebrate Emart24’s founding anniversary, we have prepared a surprise event in addition to the largest-ever 1+1 and 2+1 discount promotions on 1,960 items throughout October.”
