KT Tops at 240,000 KRW as the Highest
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] The official subsidy for the iPhone 12 has been set at a maximum of 240,000 KRW.
With Apple’s iPhone 12 pre-orders starting on the 23rd, mobile carriers have revealed the official subsidies for the iPhone 12. The final amounts will be confirmed on the official release date, the 30th.
The highest official subsidy for the iPhone 12 is 240,000 KRW, offered by KT. By carrier, the subsidies are as follows: ▲SK Telecom 53,000 KRW to 138,000 KRW ▲KT 63,000 KRW to 240,000 KRW ▲LG Uplus 84,000 KRW to 229,000 KRW. Based on 5G plans in the 80,000 KRW range, SK Telecom offers 110,000 KRW, while KT and LG Uplus offer 150,000 KRW as official subsidies.
SK Telecom’s official subsidies by plan are ▲0Teen 5G 53,000 KRW ▲Slim 65,000 KRW ▲Standard 86,000 KRW ▲Prime 110,000 KRW ▲Platinum 138,000 KRW, the lowest among the three carriers.

LG Uplus’s official subsidies are ▲5G Light (Senior/Youth) 84,000 KRW ▲5G Light 101,000 KRW ▲5G Standard 135,000 KRW ▲5G Smart 152,000 KRW ▲5G Premier Regular 169,000 KRW ▲Premier Plus 186,000 KRW ▲Premier Super 203,000 KRW ▲5G Signature 229,000 KRW.

It is available in Blue, Green, Black, White, and (PRODUCT) RED colors, with an aluminum back finish. Prices for unlocked models are 1,090,000 KRW for 64GB, 1,160,000 KRW for 128GB, and 1,300,000 KRW for 256GB. Carrier models are priced at 1,078,000 KRW for 64GB, 1,155,000 KRW for 128GB, and 1,287,000 KRW for 256GB.
The iPhone 12 Pro has a 6.1-inch screen, is equipped with the A14 chipset, and features improved camera performance with ultra-wide, wide, and LiDAR scanner cameras. The back is made of stainless steel and it comes in Graphite, Silver, Gold, and Pacific Blue colors. Prices for unlocked models are 1,350,000 KRW for 128GB, 1,490,000 KRW for 256GB, and 1,760,000 KRW for 512GB. Carrier models are priced at 1,342,000 KRW for 128GB, 1,474,000 KRW for 256GB, and 1,738,000 KRW for 512GB.
