Korea Citibank Hosts Online Cultural Seminar for VIP Customers

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Citibank Korea announced on the 23rd that it held a cultural seminar for VIP customers.

Since the first half of the year, Citibank Korea has expanded its offline seminars, which were one of the main asset management services, into online seminars. As offline gatherings became difficult due to the social distancing campaign caused by the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the bank officially introduced online customer seminars in April to satisfy customers' thirst for various investment information. More than 10 events have been held to date.

The seminar held the day before was expanded from an investment seminar to a cultural seminar to meet the diverse needs of customers. It was hosted by Son I-cheon, senior auctioneer of K-Action, who introduced "The Structure and Trends of Contemporary Art." About 200 VIP customers and their acquaintances of Citibank Korea joined the seminar via Zoom, receiving great responses from customers as it provided an opportunity to heal through culture and arts amid the tiring daily life caused by COVID-19.

A Citibank official stated, “Recently, many people are considering investment destinations due to low interest rates and abundant liquidity. We hope you experience asset management services at Citibank, which specializes in team-based asset management with strict product selection, dedicated staff, and investment and foreign exchange experts.”
