The T&C Foundation announced that the APoV (Another Point of View) online conference ‘Bias, by us’ will be released on the foundation’s YouTube channel on the 23rd (Friday). ‘Bias, by us’ previously gained popularity with over 10,000 views.

‘Bias, by us’ is an online conference hosted by the T&C Foundation from the 2nd to the 5th under the theme ‘A Hate Society Created by Distorted Empathy,’ featuring distinguished professors in history and social sciences. The conference explored humanity’s brutal world history and the mechanisms of hate in modern society through 10 lectures and discussions, eliciting empathy across all generations. It received praise not only for highlighting the severity of hate but also for deeply addressing the directions humanity should embrace and move forward for coexistence.

Before releasing the conference videos on YouTube, the T&C Foundation collected viewer feedback to enhance the clarity and effectiveness of the information delivered. In November, the foundation plans to expand the conference’s significance both online and offline through the ‘Bias, by us’ online talk concert and exhibition.

First, the ‘Bias, by us’ online talk concert will be held alongside the additional release of the conference on YouTube, providing an opportunity for viewers to freely exchange questions and opinions with the professors. Details on how to participate in the talk concert can be found in the conference’s YouTube video.

On November 19th (Thursday), the APoV exhibition will also open. Featuring six renowned domestic and international artists, this exhibition offers a vivid sensory simulation experience of the history of prejudice and hate in humanity. More information about the APoV conference and exhibition is available on the T&C Foundation’s website.

A representative from the T&C Foundation stated, “Seeing the response to the conference exceed expectations, we felt the sincerity of society’s fatigue with hate issues and its will to recover,” adding, “The T&C Foundation will continue to present diverse content under the APoV brand that shares the value of coexistence, striving to build a healthier empathetic society for future generations.”

Meanwhile, established in 2017, the T&C Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to resolving educational inequality and nurturing empathetic talents through scholarships, welfare, academic research support, and the development and operation of various empathy education programs. Through the APoV (Another Point of View) project, which signifies ‘different thinking,’ the foundation plans to regularly conduct webinars (web + seminar) to promote the creation of an empathetic society.
