[Asia Economy New York=Correspondent Baek Jong-min] U.S. President Donald Trump and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden will face off in their final face-to-face debate ahead of the November election. Despite the first debate being widely regarded as the worst, it resulted negatively for President Trump, making his offensive and Biden's defense the key points to watch in this debate.
The two candidates will engage in a 'head-to-head' battle on the 22nd (local time) at 9 p.m. (10 a.m. Korean time) in Nashville, Tennessee, with 12 days remaining until the election.
Originally, three debates were scheduled, but the second was canceled due to President Trump's COVID-19 infection and his refusal to accept changes in the debate format, leaving only the first and third debates to be held.
The topics for this debate are ▲ COVID-19 response ▲ American families ▲ race ▲ climate change ▲ national security ▲ leadership, totaling six subjects.
Each topic is scheduled for 15 minutes, totaling 90 minutes, with many sensitive issues compared to the first debate. Especially from Korea's perspective, there is expected to be heightened attention as there may be mentions of North Korea.

Foreign media predict that President Trump, aiming to reverse the polls, will launch moral attacks based on Hunter Biden's 'Ukraine allegations.'
President Trump also tweeted additional New York Post revelations confirming emails that Biden received money from China, claiming, "Biden's corruption is a monster."
Trump is likely to seize on Biden's mistake in the first debate where he denied his pledged 'Green New Deal' policy.
This is an attempt to sow discord between moderate Biden and the radical left within the Democratic Party, aiming to induce internal strife. President Trump continues to pursue a strategy to shake Democratic unity and reverse the election tide.
On the other hand, Biden has hardly scheduled any campaign events this week, focusing on preparing for the TV debate. He also did not accompany former President Barack Obama at his first public endorsement rally held the day before.
He is expected to adopt a strategy that attacks President Trump's incompetence and failures, focusing on COVID-19 response failures and the nationwide racial discrimination protests.
President Trump has been engaged in a war of nerves even before the event started. He has repeatedly expressed dissatisfaction with NBC anchor Kristen Welker, the debate moderator, calling her "completely biased." He also raised his voice against the muting of interruptions to prevent candidates from talking over each other, calling it unfair.
The biggest change is President Trump's response to the measures put in place to prevent interruptions during the opponent's speech, which were established after the first debate.
Some speculate that President Trump will adopt a strategy of allowing Biden to speak for a reasonable amount of time while trying to induce verbal mistakes instead of outright interrupting.
However, many expect the debate's influence to be less than in past elections since many voters have already decided their preferred candidate and have voted early or by mail. Political media outlet The Hill questioned whether this debate will be a 'game changer.'
