According to Politico on the 21st (local time), Advisor O'Brien stated, "I am confident that President Trump will transfer power if he loses the election." He added, "We have no fraud in this election, and it must be a free and fair election as the United States has demanded from other countries."

When asked about the possibility of President Trump's victory, he avoided a direct answer and said, "I hope he is re-elected." He mentioned, "What we believe is that President Trump must win," and "I think there is support for (President Trump), and we are hoping for the best outcome."

President Trump has suggested the possibility of rejecting the election results by mentioning potential manipulation through mail-in voting related to this election. Because of this, there is speculation within the United States that the situation where the winner is not confirmed after the election may continue.

Although Advisor O'Brien expressed the prospect that the election results will be accepted, it remains unclear whether President Trump himself shares the same intention.

Additionally, Advisor O'Brien evaluated the one-year extension of the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (New START) with Russia as a "very important progress."

New START limits the number of deployed nuclear warheads by both countries to below 1,550, and reduces delivery vehicles such as intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM), submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBM), and strategic bombers to fewer than 700 units.
