Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, Conducts 'Budget and Accounting System' Training for Accounting Staff

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangsan District, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Kim Samho) announced on the 22nd that it conducted budget and accounting system training for 20 public officials in charge of accounting tasks to ensure prompt and accurate accounting administration.

This training was promoted after being selected for the Korea Local Administration Mutual Aid Association's 'On-site Visiting Training.'

Lee Seunghwan, Deputy Director of the Regional Information Development Institute, provided essential knowledge on accounting task processing methods, from understanding the budget and accounting system to hands-on practice with the local finance management system.

A Gwangsan District official stated, "We expect that the district's financial execution will proceed more efficiently through this training," and added, "We will always strive for fair accounting and sound finances."
