[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] EagleVet, a company specializing in animal pharmaceuticals, is strengthening its poultry business capabilities. On the 22nd, EagleVet announced that it has formed a strategic partnership with DSM Nutrition Korea for poultry solutions.
On the 21st, the two companies held a business alliance agreement ceremony attended by Kang Taesung, CEO of EagleVet, and Choi Hakyong, CEO of DSM Nutrition Korea, among other officials. EagleVet explained, "Since its early days, we have used vitamins from Roche, the predecessor of DSM, as raw materials, and through this long-standing trust relationship, we have established this business agreement."
With 50 years of product sales experience, EagleVet plans to sell solution products that address farmers' concerns targeting dealerships and large-scale farms. Meanwhile, DSM will provide solutions suitable for the domestic poultry market based on products proven excellent overseas.
Kang Taesung, CEO of EagleVet, stated, "Through this strategic partnership, we will actively cooperate with DSM from the selection and development process of poultry solution products to sales to create synergy effects," adding, "EagleVet will fully launch its poultry business performance by diversifying products such as pharmaceuticals and feed."
EagleVet was recognized for its poultry business capabilities and established poultry facilities in Kabanyolo, Uganda, last year in collaboration with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and Makerere University in Uganda. The company plans to operate the poultry facility section in cooperation with social enterprises for the next 10 years and is expected to create new business opportunities in Africa by vertically integrating the local poultry business.
