Sinbo, 'Human Rights, Integrity, and Career Exploration Education' for Youth

Visiting Learning Conducted for Students of 5 Middle Schools in Daegu Area

Sinbo, 'Human Rights, Integrity, and Career Exploration Education' for Youth An employee of the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund visited Bullo Middle School in Dong-gu, Daegu on the 20th to conduct a career special lecture for students.

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] The Korea Credit Guarantee Fund announced on the 22nd that it conducted 'Youth Human Rights, Integrity, and Career Exploration Education' for about 120 students from five middle schools in the Daegu area over three days from the 20th to the 22nd.

The Youth Human Rights, Integrity, and Career Exploration Education is a career exploration program established by the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund since 2018 to provide local youth with opportunities to form proper values and explore future job prospects. Especially this year, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, instead of holding group events, Korea Credit Guarantee Fund employees visited schools directly to conduct the education.

During this event, the Fund conducted 'Challenge! Integrity Golden Bell,' delivering human rights and integrity education, which middle school students usually find difficult to access, in an easy and enjoyable way. Additionally, in the career special lecture, young employees of the Fund served as instructors, sharing their school days, job preparation, and company life, which received great responses from the students.

Besides this event, the Fund carries out various social contribution activities for local children and youth, such as installing '1388 Youth Hotline' logo projectors to improve juvenile crime-prone areas, hosting financial education volunteer activities by the Fund's university student volunteer group for local children, and sponsoring a nationwide thank-you letter writing contest for youth.

A representative of the Fund stated, "We hope this event helps students form proper values and set their careers from diverse perspectives," and added, "The Fund will continue to communicate and empathize with youth and strive to coexist with the local community."
