Citibank, 10% Special Interest Rate Event on Savings... First 1,000 Customers Only

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Korea Citibank announced on the 22nd that it will hold the 'Citi The Dream Savings 10%' event until the 30th of next month.

This event offers a special interest rate to customers who are transacting with Citibank for the first time. It is available to the first 1,000 customers who sign up for a 6-month maturity savings account with a monthly deposit of 200,000 KRW through the Citi mobile application (app). Unlike other financial products with complicated special interest rate conditions such as additional product subscriptions or card sign-ups, customers can simply receive the special interest rate benefit by linking their savings deposit account to a Citibank account.

Citibank is also running the 'Super Ssakssul2' event. Any Citibank customer can participate, and various coupons are provided, including discount coupons for 11st, TMON, as well as various first-come-first-served coupons available when subscribing to bank products, and regularly downloadable coupons for YES24 and WEMAKEPRICE points.

A Citibank official said, “We have prepared so that both new customers transacting with Citibank for the first time and existing customers can conveniently receive many benefits through the Citi mobile app regardless of location,” adding, “In line with the untact era, we hope that through a single app, customers can comfortably enjoy not only various banking services but also diverse benefits and enjoyable events.”
