[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hyundai Motor Company launched the enhanced '2021 Venue' on the 22nd and officially began sales. The vehicle features improved product quality by standardizing popular options and upgrading the infotainment system, reflecting the preferences of millennial solo-life customers.
The 2021 Venue's Smart trim (base trim) includes customer-preferred features such as ▲artificial leather seats ▲front seat heaters ▲outside mirrors with power folding and LED turn signals as standard, and also standardizes the ▲Smartstream IVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).
The main Modern trim adds ▲driver's ventilated seat ▲LED headlamps as standard features, while the top-tier Flux trim also includes ▲passenger ventilated seat as a standard feature. Additionally, the infotainment system has been enhanced with the new wireless navigation update function (OTA) and 8-inch display audio wireless connectivity.
A pet customization package has also been added. The new 2021 Venue introduces the 'Pet Package 3,' which includes ▲cup holder toys (shared for 1st and 2nd rows) ▲collar and leash ▲portable pocket and multi-pouch ▲daily life harness, designed for outdoor activities.
The 2021 Venue's prices are ▲Smart 16.62 million KRW (IVT, continuously variable transmission) ▲Modern 18.61 million KRW ▲Flux 21.48 million KRW.
A Hyundai official stated, "The Venue is a vehicle that actively reflects the social trend of valuing time alone, with great consideration for driver convenience," and added, "The improved driving environment of the 2021 Venue is expected to provide greater satisfaction to customers."
