[Photo] Theater Ensemble, Environmental Musical 'Hwangyeong Maeul' Performance

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Under the supervision of Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Soo-young), the theater troupe Ensemble performed the musical "Hwangyeong Maeul" at the gymnasium of Sinnam Middle School in Yangcheon-gu on the afternoon of the 21st.

The musical "Hwangyeong Maeul" is a newly adapted version of the Broadway award-winning work "Urinetown," appealing for the necessity of environmental protection through the depiction of urban daily life suffering from severe water shortages due to climate change and environmental pollution.

Yangcheon-gu complied with quarantine rules such as disinfecting the venue and maintaining social distancing among the audience, and prepared for many people to enjoy the performance together beyond on-site viewing by broadcasting simultaneously on TV within classrooms and on Yangcheon TV.
