Muan-gun, Creating a 'Clean and Pleasant Environment' in Yeongsan River

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Muan County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 21st that it has been cleaning the Yeongsan Riverside since the 20th for the health of the residents and a pleasant riverside bicycle path.

The county is currently collecting and incinerating 6,000 tons of garbage generated in the upper Yeongsan River area due to heavy rains in August, and plans to continue the cleanup activities until December.

A county official said, "Many residents visit the Yeongsan Riverside on weekends for family walks or bicycle rides," adding, "We will do our best to create a pleasant environment."
