[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Among the four iPhone 12 models, the most popular model among domestic consumers was the 'iPhone 12 Pro.'


On the 21st, MNPrice announced that ahead of the iPhone 12 pre-order, 53% of domestic consumers chose the iPhone 12 Pro according to a preference survey. The survey was conducted over a week starting from the 14th, targeting 7,337 people.


Preference by model was ▲iPhone 12 Pro (53%) ▲iPhone 12 Mini (17%) ▲iPhone 12 (16%) ▲iPhone 12 Pro Max (14%). The iPhone 12 Mini narrowly took second place.


Among all models, the most preferred storage capacity was 128GB. For the iPhone 12, the order was 128GB (52.7%), 64GB (31.3%), and 256GB (16%). For the iPhone 12 Pro, it was 128GB (62%), 256GB (33.6%), and 512GB (4.4%). The iPhone 12 Mini had 128GB (48.1%), 64GB (32.1%), and 256GB (19.8%). The iPhone 12 Pro Max showed preference for 256GB (42.5%), 128GB (41.5%), and 512GB (16%).

The iPhone 12 series added a new Blue color, and among Pro models and above, 'Pacific Blue' was overwhelmingly popular. For the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini, White was preferred over Blue. For the iPhone 12, the order was White (34.2%), Blue (28%), Black (20.2%), Green (10.6%), and Red (7%). The iPhone 12 Mini also showed White (30.3%), Black (29.8%), Blue (28.3%), Red (6%), and Green (5.7%) in that order.


The iPhone 12 Pro was preferred in the order of Pacific Blue (44.3%), Graphite (29.2%), Silver (14.5%), and Gold (12%). The iPhone 12 Pro Max preferences were Pacific Blue (46.2%), Graphite (23.8%), Gold (17.4%), and Silver (12.6%).


Among iPhone 12 pre-order customers, those in their 20s accounted for the largest share at 52.6%, followed by those in their 30s (27.3%) and 40s (8.7%). Those under their teens were 8.3%, and those aged 50 and above were 3.1%.
