KOLMAR Korea Supports Underprivileged Children and Youth

Donation and Delivery of 20,000 Masks

[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Kolmar Holdings Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Byungmook) announced on the 21st that it has signed an agreement with the Korea Child and Youth Group Home Association to support child and youth group homes.

Group homes are child protection facilities that help children and adolescents in need of care grow up in a home-like residential environment. Currently, about 3,000 children are being cared for in over 560 facilities nationwide.

This agreement was prepared as part of Kolmar Holdings' social contribution activities to promote the healthy growth and stable protection of children living in group homes.

According to the agreement, Kolmar Holdings provided sponsorship worth 20 million KRW and 20,000 KF-94 masks.

A Kolmar Holdings official said, "We decided to provide support hoping to be a small help to children and adolescents amid the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and the cold weather," adding, "Once the situation improves, we plan to continue various activities such as health support programs for children and employee mentoring."

Meanwhile, after the spread of COVID-19, Kolmar Holdings donated 50,000 hand sanitizers through local governments. Additionally, in July, the company signed a support agreement for single-parent families, delivering quarantine supplies and donations, continuing steady social contribution activities.
