Shake Shack to Open First Daejeon Store at 'Galleria Timeworld'

The Shake Shack Daejeon 1st store is the third non-metropolitan store following the ‘Busan Seomyeon branch’ and the ‘Daegu Dongseong-ro branch,’ located in the heart of Daejeon at ‘Galleria Timeworld.’

The hoarding art (temporary construction barrier artwork) at the ‘Shake Shack Galleria Timeworld branch’ was created in collaboration with graffiti artist ‘Junkhouse,’ depicting Shake Shack as a community hub in Daejeon and people enjoying it through vibrant graffiti colors. Shake Shack has communicated with local communities through hoarding art reflecting the regional characteristics of each store and has created unique public cultural art pieces that customers can participate in.

Shake Shack will hold a pre-opening event for the Galleria Timeworld branch from the 23rd of this month until the 9th of next month. By posting a photo taken in front of the hoarding art along with a hashtag on their personal Instagram, 180 people will be selected by lottery to enjoy Shake Shack menu items freely at the pre-opening event called ‘Community Day.’ Detailed information can be found through the Happy Point application and Shake Shack’s Instagram.

The donations voluntarily collected during Community Day will be fully donated to the Daejeon Metropolitan Food Bank, which supports low-income vulnerable groups such as children in need and elderly living alone. Additionally, Shake Shack plans to carry out various activities to practice its brand mission of ‘Stand for Something Good’?a thoughtful value needed in the world?by delivering Shackburgers and other items to medical staff who have been struggling due to COVID-19, fostering coexistence with the local community.
