[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyojin] Woori Bank announced on the 21st that it has launched ‘Wini Mini,’ an advanced version of its tablet branch, a one-stop financial service that allows customers to visit directly for financial product subscription and consultation.
Since the introduction of the tablet branch in 2016, the system has been rebuilt by actively reflecting changes in the financial environment and feedback from the sales field.
With this advancement, in addition to new loan and deposit services and account management functions for individual customers, the scope of services has been greatly expanded to include ▲ loan and deposit consultation and new services for corporate customers ▲ simple subscription to financial products such as credit cards, Individual Retirement Pension (IRP), and subscription savings through QR codes ▲ merchant payment account applications.
An electronic document system has been introduced to replace various paper forms with electronic documents, enabling easier and more convenient financial transactions while preventing forgery and loss. Additionally, a password pre-registration service has been implemented, which generates an encrypted number when customers enter their password directly on their mobile phones to protect their passwords.
A Woori Bank official said, “With the launch of Woori Bank’s tablet branch ‘Wini Mini,’ we can provide diverse and convenient financial services to customers who find it difficult to visit branches,” adding, “We will continue to strive to establish an efficient sales environment at the same level as branches.”
