AndyForce Signs Exclusive MOU to Supply COVID-19 Diagnostic Kits to 18 Middle Eastern Countries and North Africa

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] AndyForce announced on the 21st that it has signed a business agreement with Kuwait's ‘NCM’ (hereinafter NCM) to supply the entire range of COVID-19 diagnostic kits.

This agreement, centered on AndyForce supplying COVID-19 diagnostic kits to 18 countries in the Middle East region, was conducted locally in Dubai with NCM Chairman Nasser Almarri.

NCM is a company headquartered in Kuwait with operations in Turkey, Jordan, and the UAE. It has invested in major airports in the Middle East, including Baghdad International Airport in Iraq and Jordan International Airport, and plans to establish a general hospital through its subsidiary in December.

AndyForce plans to supply COVID-19 diagnostic kit products to Kuwait, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member countries, and North African countries through ‘Golden Noor,’ a subsidiary established by NCM to promote its medical business. The main usage locations include airports, government offices, and hospitals.

An AndyForce official stated, "As soon as the Kuwait Ministry of Health (MOH) completes the sales approval for the COVID-19 diagnostic kit products, rapid diagnostic kits for COVID-19, including antigen and antibody tests, will be prioritized for on-site supply," adding, "Through this business agreement, we expect to export all AndyForce diagnostic kit products throughout the Middle Eastern market."

He continued, "The Middle East is considered one of the global big markets, and AndyForce has already secured export permits and European certifications for key products such as PCR, antibody, antigen, and COVID-19-influenza combo kits, enabling immediate supply and market preemption. In particular, this is a highly significant business as Chairman Almarri personally invited AndyForce to Dubai to hold this business agreement ceremony despite the COVID-19 situation," he said.

Recently, major Middle Eastern countries have been reviewing the introduction of a COVID-19 double-check system centered on holy sites and airports to revitalize Mecca visits and trade between Middle Eastern countries, which were temporarily suspended due to the recent spread of COVID-19.

An AndyForce official emphasized, "Diagnostic kits are a core element of the double-check system, so demand for diagnostic kits is expected to increase significantly in the future," and added, "Chairman Almarri is understood to have proceeded with this agreement as part of responding to policy changes in Middle Eastern countries."
