SSG Pay Launches 'Account Payment' Service on SSG.com

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Shinsegae Group's simple payment service SSG Pay will open the 'Account Payment' service on SSG.com starting from the 21st.

SSG Pay's account payment service allows customers to register their bank accounts with SSG Pay and make payments via account transfer at online and offline affiliated stores. The payment amount is immediately withdrawn within the registered account balance limit, enabling easy payment without credit or debit cards.

SSG.com customers can use the account payment service without separately installing the SSG Pay application (app). After shopping, customers only need to register the account payment method once at the 'Payment' step to use it immediately. If there are payment methods already registered in the existing SSG Pay app, they can be automatically imported.

To commemorate the opening of the SSG.com account payment service, a 1% SSG Money accumulation benefit will be provided for every payment made until November 8. Additionally, customers can receive up to 30% year-end tax deduction on the amount used, allowing them to enjoy more benefits.

Moon Junseok, the person in charge of SSG Pay at SSG.com, said, "By adding account payment on SSG.com, we can provide customers with a more convenient shopping environment," and added, "We will offer more innovative services and various benefits so that customers can pay more easily and conveniently through SSG Pay."

Meanwhile, the SSG Pay account payment service is currently available at SSG.com, Emart (including Emart Traders, Mollis Pet Shop, Electromart, PK Market, etc.), Shinsegae Department Store, Emart Everyday, Emart24, Starbucks (in-store payment), and Casamia, with plans to expand affiliated stores in the future.

Also, at Casamia stores, after entering the password in the SSG Pay app and selecting the desired bank for payment, customers can complete payment, discount application, point accumulation, and cash receipt issuance simply by scanning a barcode, experiencing a fast and easy payment process without complicated steps. Additionally, until November 8, customers can earn a 2% SSG Money accumulation benefit for every SSG Pay account payment made.
