[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the afternoon of the 20th, Chaehyunil, the mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu, spent time communicating with parent operating committee members of public and national daycare centers in the mayor’s office at ‘Women’s Communication and Culture Space HEY YDP!’ located in Dangsan-dong.

He met with parent operating committee members from Eunsol Daycare Center and Byeolha Daycare Center in Dangsan 2-dong, and Yeongdeungpo Dundeun Daycare Center in Daerim 3-dong, which opened on September 1st. They encouraged parents who faced difficulties in childcare due to COVID-19 and freely discussed their hopes for district administration regarding childcare, care services, and educational environments.

Mayor Chae stated that by expanding public and national daycare centers, he will strive to create a high-quality childcare environment and build an open Yeongdeungpo where parents can trust and confidently leave their children.
