[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Police launched an investigation after receiving a report of a bag suspected to contain explosives near the National Assembly Library in Yeouido, Seoul.
At around 4 p.m. on the 20th, police received a report from a National Assembly staff member stating that "there is a suitcase wrapped in a plastic bag behind the National Assembly Library" and began a search.
Following the explosive response manual, the police deployed the Special Operations Unit and detection dogs to the scene to assess the situation.
