[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] Professor Seomin of Dankook University, a co-author of "A Country Never Experienced Before" (Jogukheukseo), claimed on the 20th that "malicious comments about me have been pouring in since I became a critic of the current administration."

In a post on his blog that day, Professor Seo said, "Dkkaemoon (a derogatory term for blind supporters of President Moon Jae-in) tries to undermine the legitimacy of my words by attacking the messenger, that is, by exposing my flaws."

He continued, "(They) mock my appearance and major," adding, "However, it is not a very effective strategy. I don't know if they think they are good-looking themselves, but I say I am ugly."

He also stated, "(They) try to portray me as a Park Geun-hye supporter or a People Power Party supporter," and rebutted, "But I have been writing critical articles about conservative administrations for eight years since 2010 during Lee Myung-bak's presidency, and the articles I wrote during Park Geun-hye's four years in office were even compiled into a book called 'B-grade Politics.'"

Professor Seo said, "In the end, they ask, 'Why does a professor write political articles instead of doing research?'" and pointed out, "Politics is an area that all citizens should be interested in and participate in. Moreover, those who say that themselves neglect their work and comment on political articles, so why do they tell me to 'just do research'?"

He added, "It's strange that these people never tell Professor Joguk, who is also a professor, to just do research," and criticized, "These days, it seems Joguk spends most of his time not only giving political advice but also suing others."

He then sarcastically criticized, "To the Dkkaemoon with an IQ of 59, won't you stop these pointless messenger attacks and provide proper rebuttals?" and said, "Now that I think about it, it doesn't make sense. Those who have the intelligence to rebut would not be Dkkaemoon."
