[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] On the 20th, former Seoul High Prosecutor General Yoon Gap-geun filed a lawsuit against Kim Jin-ae, a member of the Open Democratic Party, who was identified by former Star Mobility Chairman Kim Bong-hyun as the 'prosecutor who received alcohol entertainment,' at the Seoul Southern District Court, claiming 100 million won in damages.

Former Prosecutor General Yoon explained the reason for filing the lawsuit, saying, "Rep. Kim defamed me by publicly announcing false facts at the National Assembly audit," and "Kim Bong-hyun does not know me, and I have never gone to a room salon with any of the prosecutors mentioned there or anyone else."

Rep. Kim, during the National Assembly Legislation and Judiciary Committee's audit of the Seoul High Prosecutors' Office and its affiliated prosecution offices the previous day, revealed the name and photo of former Prosecutor General Yoon as one of the three prosecutors who were mentioned as recipients of alcohol entertainment in former Star Mobility Chairman Kim Bong-hyun's 'prison statement' lobbying targets.

In his previously released statement, former Chairman Kim targeted former Prosecutor General Yoon, claiming, "I paid hundreds of millions of won to a former prosecutor general turned opposition party prominent politician and a lawyer for Lime Fund solicitation, and also lobbied the president and vice president of Woori Bank."
