[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] LINE has launched a mobile banking platform linked to banking services called 'LINE BK' in Thailand.
According to LINE on the 20th, 'LINE BK' is LINE's first banking service. LINE users in Thailand can now use services such as easy remittance, opening free deposit and withdrawal accounts, personal credit loans, and payments through the LINE app.
Users can open up to five accounts and receive three types of check cards. Various banking services, including personal loans, are also provided to individual customers without fixed income, such as freelancers.
Going forward, LINE plans to expand banking services to countries such as Japan, Taiwan, and Indonesia.
