[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] LG Uplus announced on the 20th that it will provide its cloud gaming platform 'GeForce NOW' for the online global indie game festival 'Busan Indie Connect Festival 2020-Untact Live' (BIC Festival 2020).
At the BIC Festival 2020, which runs until the 25th, visitors can experience major games via real-time streaming using GeForce NOW without the need to individually download each game. This reduces the time required to download and demo large-capacity games.
From the developers' perspective, it also prevents security issues that may arise when online visitors directly download games that are not yet fully developed.
LG Uplus will also hold special events supporting indie games during the festival. Customers who play at least one game exhibited at the BIC Festival 2020 during the event period will be entered into a draw to win prizes such as a 50,000 KRW Steam Wallet Code.
