SK C&C Implements Cloud-Based Integrated Academy Management Platform

[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] SK Inc. C&C announced on the 20th that it will implement Cloud Z for Eduvation, an academy management service company.

Eduvation, a subsidiary of Daekyo Group, is the largest comprehensive academy management service provider in Korea. It operates services targeting domestic academies, tutoring centers, and study rooms, including ▲the academy instructor employment portal 'Hunjang Maeul' ▲the academy shuttle sharing service 'Gorillaide' ▲the academy management program 'Tongtongtong'.

Through cloud migration, the individually operated ▲Hunjang Maeul ▲Gorillaide ▲Tongtongtong will be integrated and operated as a 'Unified Academy Management Platform' for total academy management services.

Previously, users had to access the employment portal or each site individually to find the necessary services, but from now on, they will be able to check the services they need with a single login.

The 'Multi-Cloud Hub Zone' within SK Inc. C&C's Pangyo Cloud Data Center is a space where customers can easily use various external clouds such as AWS, MS Azure, IBM, and Google as one cloud, including their own system environments. It supports optimized multi- and hybrid-cloud services tailored to each customer.

Eduvation will migrate systems that can be transitioned to the cloud to AWS, and systems that are difficult to configure on public cloud will be moved to the 'Multi-Cloud Hub Zone' on-premises equipment, which is their own system environment.

Shin Hyun-seok, Group Head of SK Inc. C&C, said, “Through the 'Multi-Cloud Hub Zone' at the Pangyo Cloud Data Center, we will provide integrated support for various cloud services including AWS Cloud as well as Cloud Z's integrated monitoring and security solutions,” adding, “We will strive to establish Eduvation's platform as the leading digital innovation platform for domestic academies.”
