[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Online video service (OTT) Wavve will screen the award-winning films of the smartphone-shot film festival 'Galaxy Film Festa' from the 20th to the 25th.
Now in its second year, the Galaxy Film Festa is a smartphone film festival that produces high-quality short films from submissions shot with the Galaxy Note20 Ultra, after expert script review and mentoring. Consumers can freely submit, vote for, and watch films shot on smartphones.
During the submission period from July to August, works of various genres such as romantic comedy, thriller, and fantasy were submitted. Wavve will release a total of seven works, including the 8K category winners 'M.O.S.' and 'Memory Note', the general category winners 'Noran Undonghwa' (Yellow Sneakers) and 'Disco Queen', as well as last year's first event winners 'Galaxy Eyes', 'Guitarist', and 'Vlog'.
The award-winning films are available for viewing by all Wavve subscribers, both free and paid.
