[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Dongwook Park] The Korea Veterans Welfare and Medical Service (Chairman Yang Bong-min) is constructing a new second office building right next to its headquarters located in Wonju Innovation City, Gangwon Province.

According to the Veterans Welfare and Medical Service on the 20th, the site for the second office building is the last unsold lot in Cluster 14, owned by the Korea Land and Housing Corporation within Wonju Innovation City.

The purchase price for this site, which is 7,439㎡ (2,250 pyeong)?1.5 times the size of the current Veterans Welfare and Medical Service headquarters?is 4.092 billion KRW, approximately 1.81 million KRW per pyeong.

The Veterans Welfare and Medical Service plans to build the second office building on this site to establish an integrated information system by 2025 and to use it as additional office space.
