'Tada' Expands Designated Driver Business... Launches Driver App

[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] 'Tada' operator VCNC has officially launched the chauffeur driver app 'Handlemoa,' marking the full-scale entry into the chauffeur driving brokerage business.

VCNC is introducing the driver-exclusive app Handlemoa ahead of the launch of the chauffeur driving service 'Tada Daeri,' scheduled for the 28th. Chauffeur drivers can receive Tada Daeri calls through Handlemoa, operate their vehicles, and manage their driving history and other records.

Handlemoa has established policies that maximize drivers' earnings with the industry's lowest commission fees and a reasonable fare system.

The operating commission is set at 15% per trip, the lowest in the industry, with no separate program fees or paid services. When a driver receives five 5-star ratings from users after service, their Handle Level rises, and they can receive 5% of the payment amount as a reward, effectively lowering the actual commission to 10% thereafter.

Each time a driver receives five 5-star ratings from users, their Handle Level increases by one step, and special rewards are given with each level up. Additionally, as with the existing Tada service, a tip system has been introduced to allow drivers to earn extra income from users.

VCNC has also collaborated with Carrot Insurance. For drivers in their 40s and 50s, who make up more than 80% of chauffeur drivers, the insurance premium per trip is only 900 KRW and 980 KRW, respectively.

Driver recruitment and registration will proceed simultaneously with the app launch. Anyone aged 26 or older with a Class 2 regular driver's license or higher and at least one year of driving experience can register as a Tada chauffeur driver. To register as a driver, download the Handlemoa app from the Google Play Store, then sign up as a driver and verify your driver's license qualifications. Registration results can be checked through the app within three business days.

VCNC will also operate a special reward program for drivers for a limited period after the launch of Tada Daeri. Among drivers who achieve their first level up, a lottery will be held to award up to 1 million KRW. Additional congratulatory points will be given each time a driver reaches a specific level until the end of the year.

Kim Gi-nyeon, VCNC Chief Operating Officer, stated, "We will strive to uphold the principle of comfortable and safe mobility by providing drivers with more earnings and customers with more convenient services."
