[Today’s Weather] Chilly Morning... Fine Dust Levels Rising Nationwide

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] On Tuesday the 20th, the whole country will be mostly clear with high fine dust concentrations.

This morning, temperatures in most areas will drop below 10 degrees Celsius, making it chilly.

Eastern Gyeonggi, inland Gangwon, inland North Gyeongsang, eastern inland North Jeolla, and northwestern inland South Gyeongsang will see temperatures drop to around 5 degrees Celsius.

Morning low temperatures by region are expected to be △Seoul 10°C △Chuncheon 5°C △Gangneung 11°C △Daejeon 7°C △Cheongju 8°C △Daegu 9°C △Busan 13°C △Jeonju 7°C △Gwangju 10°C △Jeju 15°C.

Daytime high temperatures are forecasted to be △Seoul 22°C △Chuncheon 21°C △Gangneung 21°C △Daejeon 22°C △Cheongju 22°C △Daegu 22°C △Busan 23°C △Jeonju 22°C △Gwangju 23°C △Jeju 22°C.

Also, due to stagnant air, fine dust levels are expected to be high today. Seoul, southern Gyeonggi, North Chungcheong, and South Chungcheong are forecasted to have 'bad' air quality, while other regions will range from 'good' to 'moderate'.

The Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "Since the temperature difference between day and night will be more than 10 degrees Celsius in most areas nationwide, please take care of your health."
