[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] Lawyer Park Hoon claimed on the 19th through his Facebook that the original 'prison statement' of former Star Mobility Chairman Kim Bong-hyun, who exposed allegations of opposition party and prosecutor lobbying, includes the names of former Future United Party leader Hwang Kyo-ahn, former MBC President Kim Jang-gyeom, and Yoon Dae-jin, Deputy Director of the Judicial Research and Training Institute (Prosecutor General).

Lawyer Park stated, "I have seen the so-called original document of Kim Bong-hyun's expos?. The core is a three-page document, and I will sequentially specify the redacted parts," adding, "The first blank is a close aide of former leader Hwang Kyo-ahn."

He continued, "The next blank is former MBC President Kim Jang-gyeom," and claimed, "It is said that through Kim Jang-gyeom and Lee Kang-se, they were introduced to figures from both ruling and opposition parties at that time."

Lawyer Park explained, "A former prosecutor-turned-lawyer A (former prosecutor Lee Ju-hyung)'s colleague, former investigator A (name unknown), took 50 million won in December 2019 under the pretext of lobbying Prosecutor General Yoon Dae-jin," adding, "The name Yoon Dae-jin was redacted in the so-called 'Dae-yoon' and 'So-yoon' references related to Yoon Seok-yeol."

He further stated, "Confirming the real names in Kim Bong-hyun's expos? document is to warn that no one should play political games."

In his prison letter, former Chairman Kim wrote, "Paid several hundred million won to a lawyer of a prominent opposition politician who is a former Prosecutor General (close aide of former representative ○○○)," "Repeated cash payments related to Kim ○○ and Lee Kang-se, former Gwangju MBC President, for personnel requests," and "50 million won paid in December 2019 related to the Suwon case (○○○ Prosecutor General lobbying pretext - person related to elder brother) to suppress police warrant requests (the actual warrant request was delayed but later requested due to Lime-related matters, etc.)."

Meanwhile, Prosecutor Yoon Dae-jin, who led the investigation of former Chairman Kim's case as Suwon District Prosecutor General, refuted the letter's contents through a statement on the same day, saying, "The Suwon District Prosecutor's Office never delayed the warrant request at that time."

Deputy Director Yoon explained that in mid-December 2019, the police applied for a warrant regarding Kim Bong-hyun's embezzlement of about 16 billion won from Suwon Passenger Transport, but shortly after, Kim fled, and after a long pursuit, he was arrested and detained in April this year.

He added, "At that time, we did not know who Kim Bong-hyun's lawyer was, nor did we hear anything about Kim Bong-hyun from his lawyer or anyone else."
