[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgi Kim] Former Captain Lee Geun, who appeared on the YouTube entertainment show 'Fake Men,' refuted on the 18th the claims made by former entertainment reporter Kim Yong-ho that he was responsible for the death of his ex-girlfriend, calling them "false information dissemination."
On that day, Lee Geun said on his YouTube channel, "Until now, whether false information was spread on broadcasts or not, I just filed lawsuits and ignored it, but now they are using the death accident of my skydiving colleague to gain profit while spreading false information."
He added, "Would Ms. Jeong○○ have died because of me, who was neither her instructor nor her boyfriend? This fact is known to Jeong's family as well," expressing concern that "this will cause secondary trauma to her family."
He continued, "I did not respond or explain each case because there was no need. Now that they are attacking my family and saying that I caused the death of a skydiving colleague I respected, I will submit evidence," he added.

Lee Geun said, "Many people are trying to kill me by dragging out lies because they are jealous. If you are confident, keep going," and criticized, "As a colleague, I loved Ms. Jeong, and she passed away in a tragic accident at a site where I was not present. Let's wait and see."
Meanwhile, Lee Geun also explained about his sexual harassment controversy. He claimed, "Regarding the sexual harassment, the closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage can be viewed by the parties involved, but the court has prohibited external leakage."
He added, "When the CCTV footage from three angles is released, I hope the public will judge. While passing by facing the victim, is it possible for my hand to wrap around the victim's waist on the left side and then move down to squeeze the right buttock for 3 to 5 seconds, or is it physically impossible? If you watch the CCTV, it was a wide space with many people, not a corridor," explaining, "I was the one who called the police at the scene and started the trial."
He continued, "I have never lied to the entire nation. Whether you believe fake news, the Garoseuro Research Institute (Gaseyeon), or other trash, it's your freedom," and added, "I am confident because I know the truth."
