[Photo] Jungnang-gu and Jungnang-gu Architects Association Sign Agreement to Support Urban Regeneration Project

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) signed an "Agreement for the Revitalization of Urban Regeneration in Jungnang-gu" with the Jungnang-gu Architects Association at 2 p.m. on the 16th.

This agreement was prepared to establish an organic cooperation system among "public-architect-residents" to promote field-oriented urban regeneration projects and to efficiently carry out residential environment improvement projects in areas densely populated with old houses.

The signing ceremony proceeded with the signing of the agreement and commemorative photos, followed by expert training on street house maintenance projects and small-scale housing maintenance projects for about 20 members of the Architects Association to strengthen the capabilities of urban regeneration experts.

Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, "This signing ceremony will greatly help promote urban regeneration projects that residents can be satisfied with and empathize with," adding, "We will continue to do our best to expand field-oriented and region-customized urban regeneration projects."
