According to industry sources on the 18th, the UK IT specialized media 'What Hi-Fi' recently categorized various TV products released this year into eight categories and announced the best TVs.
Samsung Electronics' TVs were chosen as the best products in four of the eight categories, accounting for half.
In particular, the newly established 'Best 8K TV' category this year was awarded to Samsung's QLED 8K TV (model QE75Q950TS). This product received high scores across various areas including picture quality, design, and smart features.
What Hi-Fi praised, "This product surpasses competing models with its slim design featuring a uniform thickness of 1.5 cm, and its corner design optimized for sound and heat dissipation is very unique. It also delivers vividness that exceeds existing 4K TVs in 4K content processing."
Additionally, Samsung Electronics' products swept the categories of ▲Best 40?43 inch ▲Best 48?50 inch under ?1000 (approximately 1.5 million KRW) ▲Best 55?58 inch under ?1000.
Sony took the categories of Best 48?50 inch TV over ?1000 and Best 65 inch TV under ?2000. Philips OLED TV was selected in two categories: Best 55?58 inch TV over ?1000 and Best 65 inch TV over ?2000.
