According to the police on the 16th, the Pohang Branch of the Daegu District Court issued arrest warrants for CEO A and employee B of the POSCO supplier on the same day.

The Gyeongbuk Provincial Police Agency has been investigating suspected delivery corruption between POSCO Pohang Steelworks and subcontractors since January. During this process, on April 18th, a team leader-level employee at Pohang Steelworks, who was questioned as a witness, left a suicide note and took his own life.

Meanwhile, at POSCO Pohang Steelworks last year, four employees and three subcontractor employees were also arrested on charges of accepting bribes to secure construction contracts.
