Busan City Health Authorities Confirm Positive COVID-19 Cases in 3 Second-Floor Inpatients and 2 Staff Members on the 16th

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] On the 16th, 5 more people tested positive for COVID-19 at Busan Haetteurak Nursing Hospital, where 53 employees and patients were previously confirmed positive in large numbers.
Busan City Health Authorities announced on the 16th that after retesting 198 patients and employees in facility quarantine and self-isolation at Haetteurak Nursing Hospital in Mandeok-dong, Buk-gu, 5 new confirmed cases were identified.
The 5 newly confirmed cases include 3 inpatients (Busan Nos. 543 to 545) and 2 employees (Busan Nos. 546 and 547).
The total number of confirmed cases at Haetteurak Nursing Hospital has reached 58, including 13 employees and 45 inpatients.
All the newly confirmed inpatients were staying in rooms on the 2nd floor. One of the confirmed employees works on the 2nd floor, and the other works in the hospital’s radiology department.
