[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Peptron's stock price plunged by over 20% following the news that it decided on a 75 billion KRW rights offering.
At 9:56 a.m. on the 16th, Peptron was trading at 14,850 KRW on the KOSDAQ market, down 19.73% from the previous session.
Through a disclosure the previous day, Peptron announced that it would proceed with a 75 billion KRW rights offering through a shareholder allocation followed by a general public offering of unsubscribed shares to raise approximately 49.5 billion KRW for operating funds and 25.5 billion KRW for debt repayment. The planned issue price is 14,150 KRW, and the new shares are scheduled to be listed on January 13 of next year.
