[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Young-eun] YouTuber Jung Bae-woo exposed sexual scandal allegations involving Logan (real name Kim Jun-young), who appears as an instructor on 'Fake Men,' and Jung Eun-joo, while YouTuber Kim Gyeran, the producer of 'Fake Men,' expressed discomfort over the situation.
On the 14th, Jung Bae-woo revealed a nude photo of a man on his YouTube channel, claiming it was "a photo taken when Instructor Logan was a victim of bodycam phishing." Although the private parts were censored, the face and bare upper body were fully exposed.
Bodycam phishing is a crime where victims are tricked into installing a mobile app containing malicious code under the pretense of engaging in erotic chatting, then coerced into taking explicit photos or videos, which are then threatened to be distributed to extort money.
Jung Bae-woo stated, "Before releasing the photo, I consulted with a lawyer, who said it was okay to disclose it on the broadcast since the photo had already been leaked online," and added in the YouTube comments, "As expected, there are many threats of lawsuits, but lawsuits are always welcome."
In response, netizens criticized that if the photo was indeed taken when Logan was a victim of bodycam phishing, he should be considered a victim, and distributing his sexually exploitative photo constitutes secondary victimization. There were also concerns about the reckless disclosure of a private citizen's personal life.
In response to these criticisms, Jung Bae-woo defended his actions, arguing, "This is not about an ordinary person but a public figure and celebrity," and stated, "If you dislike strict morality, then you should not commit such wrongdoings."
Additionally, Jung Bae-woo claimed on his YouTube channel that "Jung Eun-joo was found to have engaged in strange behavior called 'chodaenam' by visiting illegal entertainment establishments with UDT members," presenting KakaoTalk group chat conversations involving Jung Eun-joo, Logan, and UDT members as evidence.
Subsequently, Kim Gyeran, the producer of 'Fake Men,' expressed concern and discomfort over the situation on his Instagram story on the 15th, stating, "Who wishes for someone to die?"
