iPhone 11 Price Reduced from 990,000 KRW to 850,000 KRW
iPhone XR Price Lowered to 690,000 KRW
iPhone 11 Pro and Max Discontinued
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Apple has lowered the prices of existing models and discontinued some models ahead of the launch of the iPhone 12 series.
On the 14th, Apple Korea adjusted the price of the iPhone 11 to 850,000 KRW. It was launched at 990,000 KRW, but the price was lowered by 140,000 KRW ahead of the iPhone 12 launch. With the iPhone 12's release price set at 950,000 KRW, the previous model, the iPhone 11, was priced lower than that.
The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max have been discontinued. They are no longer available for purchase on Apple's official website. They can only be purchased at some reseller stores. Apple uses a strategy of discontinuing existing models when new products with specifications not significantly different from the previous generation are released.
Apple also lowered the price of the iPhone XR, which was released in 2018. The iPhone XR was launched at 990,000 KRW but has been adjusted to 690,000 KRW. With the price reduction of the iPhone XR, the price gap with the iPhone SE (550,000 KRW) has narrowed to 140,000 KRW.
