Systematic Support for Planning a Second Life and Social Participation After Retirement...Consignment Period from January 2021 to December 2023, 3 Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Moon Seok-jin) is publicly recruiting a consignment operator for the ‘Seodaemun 50 Plus Center,’ which comprehensively supports middle-aged adults in designing and preparing for the second half of their lives.
Located on the 2nd floor of the ‘Gongyu Campus’ near Hongje Station subway, the Seodaemun 50 Plus Center covers an area of 1,161㎡ and is equipped with lecture rooms, practice rooms, counseling rooms, a co-working center, and a cafe. It opened in July 2018.
As a facility supporting life’s second act, it has provided various programs such as jobs, education, culture, and community activation to systematically help middle-aged adults in their 50s and 60s plan their second life and participate in society after retirement.
Applicants must be a nonprofit corporation or organization capable of operating the center efficiently and professionally, with their main office located in Seoul.
The consignment period is three years, from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2023.
The consigned tasks include ▲establishing and executing management and operation plans for the Seodaemun 50 Plus Center ▲developing and operating programs for second life planning, career development, reemployment education and training, and cultural creation for middle-aged adults ▲developing policies and discovering and linking jobs to create employment ▲social contribution activities and community activation.
The application period is from the 22nd to the 28th of this month. Applications can be submitted in person to the Job Economy Division on the 5th floor of Seodaemun-gu Office.
