COVID-19 Blue Overcoming Suicide Prevention Slogan Contest Using Handwriting, Computer Fonts, Videos... Grand Prize 300,000 KRW Traditional Market Gift Certificate, Submissions via SNS, Email, Mail by 31st This Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Nowon-gu (District Mayor Oh Seung-rok) is conducting a "COVID-19 Blue Overcoming & Suicide Prevention Practice Slogan Contest."
The submission period is until the 31st, and there are no restrictions on eligibility.
The contest theme includes overcoming COVID-19 Blue (depression) and suicide prevention, and all related topics are acceptable. Submission formats include handwritten one-sentence slogans, computer text, or video recordings.
To apply, participants must upload their entries with the mandatory hashtag (#NowonSuicidePreventionCampaign) on their personal SNS accounts (Instagram, Facebook) or send them via email or postal mail.
Each person may submit up to two entries, which must be original works. If duplicate entries are submitted, only the first registered work will be considered for judging.
Prizes will be given in traditional market gift certificates: 1 grand prize winner will receive 300,000 KRW, 2 excellence prize winners 150,000 KRW each, 4 merit prize winners 50,000 KRW each, and 10 honorable mentions 30,000 KRW each, totaling approximately 1,100,000 KRW.
The selected works will be announced on November 11.
The chosen slogans will be used in public campaigns and promotional materials aimed at preventing COVID-19 Blue among residents, suicide prevention, and spreading a culture of respect for life.
