[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] Donald Trump's personal physician, Sean Conley, stated that President Trump could attend official events starting from the 10th (local time), according to an AP report on the 8th.
In a statement released through the White House that day, Conley said, "President Trump has completed the entire treatment process for COVID-19," and added, "President Trump received very good treatment for COVID-19."
He continued, "Since returning from the hospital to the White House, he has shown a stable condition, and there are no signs of further progression of COVID-19," explaining, "He will be able to attend official schedules starting Saturday (the 10th)."
Conley said, "Saturday will mark ten days since the positive diagnosis on the 1st," and "According to the diagnosis performed by the medical team, he will be able to safely return to work."
Conley also reported, "Currently, President Trump's heart rate is 69 beats per minute, and his blood pressure is 127/81," adding, "No side effects from the treatment have appeared."
Earlier, President Trump was hospitalized for three days until the night of the 5th before returning to the White House. During that time, he received antibody treatment along with Remdesivir and Dexamethasone.
With the second presidential debate scheduled for the 15th becoming uncertain, President Trump's side hinted at his return to official appearances over the weekend.
When the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) announced that, considering the spread of COVID-19, the debate would be held virtually instead of in person, President Trump claimed "there is no contagion" and pressured to boycott the virtual debate if the format was changed.
