[Weather] Third Day of Chuseok Holiday Mostly Cloudy Nationwide... Rain Drops in Some Areas

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] On the third day of the Chuseok holiday, the 2nd, the whole country will be mostly cloudy with rain in some areas. Dense fog will form in the southern inland regions during the early morning.

Expected precipitation amounts are 5 to 10 mm in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Yeongseo region of Gangwon, and northern Chungnam. Light rain under 5 mm will fall in the southern Yeongseo region of Gangwon and northern Chungbuk as well.

The morning low temperature is forecasted to be between 12 and 18 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 21 and 26 degrees Celsius. The large temperature difference between day and night requires attention to health management.

As ground-level temperatures drop overnight, dense fog with visibility below 200 meters is expected in some southern inland areas until 9 a.m., so returning travelers should be cautious about traffic safety.

Fine dust levels will be 'Good to Moderate' across all regions.

Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1 meter in the South Sea coastal waters.
