Autoplus Ribbon Car Obtains Patent for Customized Used Car Sales System

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] A patented service that provides customized used car information has been developed, making it easier for consumers to choose vehicles.
Reboncar, the premium used car brand of Autoplus, announced on the 2nd that it has introduced a technology patent related to a customized used car sales system, effectively helping customers select vehicles.
The patent is registered as a "Customized Used Car Sales System and Method." It involves calculating performance evaluation scores based on inspection data for transparency, safety, and driving performance of used cars, then providing consumers with the final calculated score and price information according to the productization items for which customers want additional repairs.
This technology is a solution to the problem that existing used car transaction systems did not provide objective information on vehicle performance evaluation and pricing. According to Reboncar, it offers consumers reliable performance evaluation information and customized vehicle price information based on repair preference selections, helping them make rational choices.
The system first selects only used cars that meet three main conditions: less than 5 years since release, mileage under 120,000 km, and no accidents. Selected vehicles undergo a thorough diagnosis of 133 inspection items through the patented used car quality management process AQI (AUTOPLUS Quality Inspection), and only vehicles improved to have no issues in driving performance and safety are offered for consumers to choose additional productization items.
Consumers can select productization services such as scratch removal, polishing for exterior, and parts like engine oil and tires up to their desired extent, paying additional costs accordingly. Guidelines for each productization item are also provided for consumers who may not have extensive knowledge about cars.
