'Bolbbalgan Ramyeon Research Lab' Ottogi Eldest Daughter Ham Yeonji "Got Scolded for Eating Competitor's Ramyeon in Front of Father"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Musical actress Ham Yeon-ji shared an episode about being scolded by her father, Chairman Ham Young-jun.

On the 29th, MBC's Chuseok special 'Bolbbalgan Ramen Lab' aired, a program where MCs with picky adolescent tastes visit people with unique ramen recipes to try and evaluate them. The MCs included Seo Jang-hoon, Sung Si-kyung, Kim Jong-kook, Haha, and Ham Yeon-ji.

On this day, the home of Ham Yeon-ji, the daughter of a ramen shop owner, was revealed.

Contrary to the preconceived notion of a 'chaebol family,' the MCs were surprised by the unexpected simplicity.

When asked, "Did you eat a lot of ramen?" Ham Yeon-ji said, "I really ate a lot of ramen. When I was young, I only ate Ottogi ramen. When I started working and said I hadn't tried other brands, people found it strange."

She then shared an anecdote about being scolded by her father for eating other brands of ramen in the past.

Ham Yeon-ji said, "When my father, Chairman Ham Young-jun, was hospitalized, there was only other brands of ramen at the convenience store, so I had no choice but to buy and eat them. When my father saw that, he scolded me harshly, saying, 'Do you really have to eat that here right now?'"
