On the 29th, Han Ji-eun's agency HB Entertainment stated, "Han Ji-eun and Hanhae recently broke up," adding, "The reason for the breakup is private, so we cannot confirm it."
The two met through an introduction by an acquaintance and developed into a romantic relationship. In August of last year, they acknowledged their dating rumors and began dating publicly. Notably, Hanhae continued the relationship even while serving in the military, having enlisted in the training camp on February 7 of last year. However, they recently broke up and will remain colleagues in the entertainment industry.
Han Ji-eun debuted in 2010 with the film Gwi and gained recognition through appearances in tvN's 100 Days My Prince and the film Miss Granny. She attracted attention by being cast in the film Real after overcoming a competition ratio of 4200 to 1. Afterwards, she appeared in JTBC's Be Melodramatic and Old School Intern.
Hanhae debuted in 2011 as a member of the hip-hop group Phantom. With his handsome looks and solid rap skills, he gained popularity by appearing on Mnet's Show Me the Money seasons 4 and 6. He enlisted for military service on February 7 last year, completed his service, and was discharged without return on the 12th of this year.
