[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] This year's Chuseok holiday is expected to see increased time spent indoors due to strengthened social distancing measures and minimized travel to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Through household appliances launched with excellent technology from small and medium-sized enterprises, time spent in the kitchen can be made more enjoyable and safe.

According to the home appliances and goods industry on the 2nd, SK Magic is currently taking pre-orders for its new product, the 'Double Flex Induction Range,' which is scheduled for official release this month.

This product features a four-burner design arranged vertically and horizontally, allowing convenient cooking of various dishes according to the size of the cookware. The 'Double Flex Zone,' which removes boundaries between two burners and allows connection and expansion, is applied on both the left and right sides.

It is also convenient as large-capacity, wide cooking utensils such as square pans can be used all at once. Additionally, all four burners provide ultra-high power.

An SK Magic representative said, "The new product is equipped with a total of 19 safety devices, including child lock, double locking, and automatic shut-off functions that detect excessive water overflow to prevent safety accidents."

Happycall recently entered Market Kurly and is selling various frying pan products, including the new 'Flexpan IH Lollipop.'

The Flexpan IH Lollipop features bright pastel colors and a soft-touch coated handle applied to the existing Flexpan product line. Two colors, lavender and mint, have been introduced.

A 'kitchen water purifier filter' that can prevent contaminants from coming out when using water at the kitchen sink has also been released.

The kitchen water purifier filter, introduced through the Wonbong Luhens brand, can be installed on the sink faucet. It prevents a large amount of contaminants filtered by the filter from being pushed back out due to fast water flow and applies a dual cartridge filter to improve impurity capture and extend filter life.

To enhance user convenience, it features a three-stage spray function, and 524 micro spray holes effectively remove food residues adhered to dishes. According to the company, the filter and product have received hygiene and safety certifications from several organizations, including the U.S. National Sanitation Foundation.

Zaigle will launch a new infrared air fryer wok called 'OneQ' this month. Pre-orders are being accepted ahead of the official release.

This product is equipped with an automatic oil collector and an oil outlet inside the device. It also applies cyclone hot air technology to enable cooking similar to wok dishes that cook quickly at high temperatures, raising the inner pot heating temperature to 250 degrees Celsius. Safety is ensured with a double safety lid and a detachable safety inner pot handle.

A Zaigle representative said, "Due to COVID-19, cooking at home has become a representative lifestyle pattern, increasing cooking time at home. Considering consumers' tightened budgets due to COVID-19, this product offers excellent cost-effectiveness while boasting top quality."
