Woori Pulmuone Foods Co., Ltd. announced on the 29th that the Oedong (Busan direction) rest area it operates has installed outdoor table partitions as part of strengthened COVID-19 prevention measures.
With large-scale nationwide travel expected during the Chuseok holiday and concerns about a resurgence of COVID-19, the rest area installed partitions not only on indoor tables but also on outdoor tables and at the cashier counters where customers and staff interact, to prevent the spread of COVID-19 through droplets.
In addition, the rest area implemented both the installation of partitions and the arrangement of chairs facing one direction to completely block any possible COVID-19 transmission through contact.
Hwang Seon-ho, the rest area manager, stated, “We will actively cooperate with the government’s policies to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and make every effort during the Chuseok holiday to contribute to stopping the spread of COVID-19.”
